Field Service Engineer

Job
Responsibilities:
o Provide installation, commissioning/training, troubleshooting and repair services on new and previously installed equipment.
o Document all services performed and actions carried out on service including Field Service Reports.
o Candidates require a very good working knowledge of mechanical equipment and electrical control systems.
o Use electrical schematics to test and troubleshoot electrical systems including; switches, PLCs, AC motors and motor drives, sensors and measurement devices.
o Use laptop PC and printed documentation to test and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic programs.
o Test and troubleshoot basic mechanical systems such as pulleys, belts, gearboxes, alignment and fluid power systems (hydraulic and pneumatic).
o Establish and maintain good working relationship with client personnel.
o Coordinate with Manager for required parts, materials, support. Etc.
o Advise client of modifications or upgrades to equipment.
o Extensive Domestic and International travel is required.
o Excellent organization, analytical and follow-up skills.
Minimum Requirements:
Electrical
o Proficient with electrical AC and DC circuits and components.
o Ability to read schematic and layout drawings.
o Experience in programming and working with PLC's a plus (AB experience an advantage).
o Experience working with Variable Frequency controllers.
o Troubleshooting and repair of electrically operated equipment.
o Computer Proficiency (PC).
o Have a basic understanding of AC motor drive functions and have the ability to program them.
Mechanical
o Ability to read schematic and layout drawings.
o Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical and fluid powered equipment.
o Ability to occasionally weld in the field.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
