Weekend Set Up Technician
Staff On Site currently seeking an experienced Shift Set Up Technician for temp to hire position at an established company in Beloit.

00PM and Monday 6:
00AM - 10:
00AMMUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1 ST OR 2 ND SHIFT M-F FOR FOUR TO SIX WEEKS.
Qualifications:
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Time Management, Organizational, and planning skills.
Self-Motivated with a team focus.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Solid, honest and open communication skills.
Solid and clear recording keeping is a must.
Analytical & reasoning skills are very important.
Education &
Experience:
A 2-year technical degree, or equivalent experience is recommended.
Machine troubleshooting and repair experience in a metal forming environment is required.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Safety is first and most important.
The set-up technician is responsible to maintain a safe work environment.
Maintaining the conformance of the Lock-Out / Tag-Out program during trouble shooting and set ups.
Insuring that the Operators have the tools needed to do their jobs.
Responsible to insure that machine is capable to meet product quality standards, and that the set-up of the machine is meeting those standards.
Responsibility and authority to stop production when product quality does not meet the requirements, or equipment operation is not safe, or not functioning properly.
Proper coil handing and hanging of coils.
Work with maintenance to notify any mechanical problems and any wear on the machine.
Anything else of you by your supervisor Physical Demand:
The physical demands are high; the ability to lift, move , reach are significant, determination and stamina are highly regarded in this position.
The work environment is safe and clean, but a keen sense for safety is needed when working on machines & it can be dirty at these times.
We are now offering a $1,500 signing bonus.
